On the cusp of the vacations, I thought it would be fun to take a tour of Sevenum-Horst and visit some current and completed projects. The first stop was the detached new home in Sevenum.

The clients traded their temporary home on the lot for the comfort and luxury of their new home, carefully built by Construction Company Verlaak. Inside, the home is completely finished. On the outside, only the wooden parts and slats remain to be put on the facade.

Meanwhile, those involved are working hard on the garden design. The contours of the permanent garden elements are already emerging in what otherwise looks like a large sandbox. With young children, it is not hard to imagine that at this very stage they are already enthusiastically playing outside with their digging toys – weather or not.

Fair is fair: for me, such a project visit also just feels like fine outdoor play.

In a previous post “Wet but satisfied,” I wrote that I couldn’t wait for a follow-up visit. There was nothing wrong with that!
