In early October last year, I was approached with the question of cooperating on a challenging project in which a design had to be ready before the end of the year for a newly built detached house. The client had previously had a design made that turned out to be financially unfeasible due to market developments. I was then approached by Villapool to make a new design for this project as a member of the new project team.

In a short and intensive design process, a new design was created in which the wishes of the clients found a place in a building volume that is a quarter smaller than the original design.
With the efforts of all parties involved, consultants, project supervisor, contractor and, last but not least, the client himself, the design was submitted to the municipality at the end of last 2018 after a two-month design process. And the Veldhoven municipality also contributed in optimal cooperation by granting the permit after 6 weeks.

Start of construction is scheduled for April this year. From first meeting to first shovel in the ground in less than 6 months! Great to work so efficiently with all parties involved.
