The conversion of the former bank building in ‘t Ginneken in Breda into a physiotherapy practice with apartments is making steady progress. The demolition work is almost completely finished and so the new facade can be started. The masonry back facade is giving way to large aluminum glass facades that bring a lot of light deep into the physio space. The window frames for the apartments will also be replaced and double doors will soon provide access from an apartment to the roof terrace.
Inside, the electrical and plumbing installers are already busy installing their pipes and ducts. These will soon be partly concealed in the pre-walls and above the ceilings, but in the physio-room a deliberate choice was made for a more industrial character in which ventilation ducts and electrical provisions will be left visible.
