It remains a fascinating thing, the creative design process.

Never directly from beginning-question to end-answer, but always searching, scraping, puzzling, putting away, rediscovering, and doing so again and again.

And yet there is always that first sketch, that first idea, that primary thought that you entrust to paper, with a sometimes illegible handwriting and lines that can still go in so many directions, in what they represent and what their (spatial) purpose is.

That first sketch, sometimes a simple scribble, sometimes a jumble of lines, but always a source of new inspiration and ideas.
