…And before you know it, the interior walls of the first floor are up. Today on my tour of Veldhoven I also stopped at the new house designed by me there. The special steel fiber concrete foundation floor has been poured and the men from Aannemersbedrijf Haex B.V. are looking forward to it, because the positioning frames and porotherm walls of the first floor are almost complete.

Such a phase is always very exciting for the clients (for the architect as well, by the way), because you can already experience the spaciousness of the plan to some extent through the masonry walls, but because of the color of the porotherm, the size of the space is instinctively even smaller than when the walls are later neatly plastered.

Will be another very special house, with the large glass fronts and canopy at the rear, the loft and double-story-high glass facade at the entrance and the connected living spaces on the first floor.

I’d better cycle by again soon, because according to project supervisor Aschwin van den Heuvel(Villapool Nederland B.V.) the wide plate of the first floor will be in place before Ascension Day. To be continued!
