Yesterday I took the camera in hand again and spent all day outside among the autumn colors at Mattemburgh Estate to take pictures of the new restaurant wing, the winter garden and the garden gate. A low-lying bright autumn sun gave a good dose of unavoidable backlight especially at the restaurant expansion, but that didn’t dampen the fun of photographing. Every time again it is a pleasure to walk around in this beautiful place and also yesterday I was as always very hospitably welcomed by managers Frank and Marloes van Akkeren of Orangerie Mattemburgh www.orangeriemattemburgh.nl .
